Overview
StatTools is a Microsoft Excel statistics add-in, enabling you to analyze data in Excel worksheets.
StatTools is available on campus lab computers and on your own computer using Windows Virtual Desktop.
Steps
- In the Windows search bar, type stattools and click on the StatTools app in the results. Note: StatTools is one word with no space
- StatTools will say Initializing Microsoft Excel and will open the Excel app. A welcome message will pop up with links to helpful guides and resources. Click Close to continue to Excel.
- In Excel, click the StatTools tab in the ribbon on the top right to access the StatTools functions.
Note: When you close Excel, StatTools will also close and you will need to follow the step above to re-open Excel with StatTools.
