Migrate from Chrome to Edge

Overview

Microsoft Edge is the IT Department's recommended web browser. It's built on the same technology as Google Chrome and allows for easy integration with your Providence College Microsoft 365 account. Edge allows you to sign into the browser to sync your bookmarks, add-ons, and history so that you can have easy access to them on any device you use.

Steps

1. Open Microsoft Edge.
2. Click the elipsis (...) at the far right of the address bar.
3. Choose Settings.
4. Under Profile Settings, choose "Import browser data."
5. Click "Import" next to Google Chrome.
6. Follow the prompts to choose what to import.
7. Click Import.
