Overview
Respondus LockDown Browser is a web browser (like Edge, Chrome, or Safari) that you install on a computer. Unlike other browsers it can only access specific quizzes in the Providence College Canvas server, and while it's running you cannot use your computer for anything else. Your teacher may ask you to use the Respondus LockDown Browser to take a secure assessment in their course.
You can find video tutorials in the LockDown Browser section of your Canvas courses. Click the Getting Started, Video Tutorials, or Guides & Support tabs for more information.
