Set Up a Schedule for Single Number Reach (SNR)

Overview

Single Number Reach (SNR) is a service available through the campus phone system that allows your campus desk phone to ring on your mobile phone. Once enabled, you can configure it to work on a schedule or enable and disable it altogether.

The following requires that SNR has already been configured for your phone extension. Go here to request SNR for your extension.

 

Steps

  1. Open a web browser from any device connected to the Providence College network.
  2. Go to https://myphone.providence.edu/ucmuser/.
  3. Enter your email address and network password to sign in.
  4. If you have requested Single Number Reach, one of the devices listed under My Phones will be titled either Cisco Dual Mode for Android or Cisco Dual Mode for iPhone depending on your cell phone. Click on the device and select Edit Single Number Reach.
  5. Make sure the Enable Single Number box is checked.
  6. Click the calendar icon in the bottom left to create or edit a schedule.
  7. Enter a name for your schedule.
  8. Select the radio button next to Ring only during specific times.
  9. Select the checkbox next to each day you want SNR to send calls to your cell phone and set a start and end time for each day.
  10. Confirm the time zone says (GMT-5:0) America/New_York. If you are traveling and wish to use another time zone, you may alter this. Remember to revert it when you return otherwise the schedule will be off.
