Enable/Disable Single Number Reach (SNR)

Overview

Once SNR has been configured for you, it can be disabled and re-enabled from your desk phone or from the website. If you are going on vacation or simply do not want to be disturbed, the service can be disabled.

The following requires that SNR has already been configured for your phone extension. Go here to request SNR for your extension.

Steps

Enable from Desk Phone

1. Below the display on your desk phone, press the button with the three dots (···) above it on the screen.
2. Press the button under Mobility.
3. Press the button under Select or press 1 to Enable or Disable Mobile Connect.

Enable from Website

1. Open a web browser from any device connected to the Providence College network.
2. Go to https://myphone.providence.edu/ucmuser/.
3. Enter your email address and network password to sign in.
4. If you have requested Single Number Reach, one of the devices listed under My Phones will be titled either Cisco Dual Mode for Android or Cisco Dual Mode for iPhone depending on your cell phone. Click on the  device and select Edit Single Number Reach.
5. Under Enable Single Number, select the checkbox to enable SNR or deselect the checkbox to disable SNR.
6. Click Save.
