What type of site can I request?
Here you can request that Web Services create a new site for your department or organization on the providence.edu website (WordPress) or the MyPC Portal (SharePoint).
Web pages on the providence.edu domain are external web pages. They are publicly available and cannot be restricted to a specific audience. Information published to these sites should be pertinent to a public audience and cannot contain information of a sensitive, confidential, or restricted nature.
The SharePoint-based MyPC Portal is restricted to members of the College community. Information published to these sites should not be information intended for the general public but, rather, information specifically for users with Providence College accounts.
