Print Using PaperCut

Overview

PaperCut is a print management solution that allows for easier and more secure printing on campus. Users can print to a single printer and release their print jobs on any PaperCut printer.

When printing to a PaperCut printer, your print job will be held on the print server. You will need to walk up to one of the appropriate PaperCut printers and release your print job by tapping your card on the card reader and choosing the print jobs you would like to print. Print jobs are held on the server for 24 hours, after which they are deleted.

Faculty and Staff (including Graduate Assistants)

The Faculty-Staff Xerox BW and Faculty-Staff Xerox Color printers allow faculty, staff, and other office workers to print to any printer that is on PaperCut, including traditional "student" printers, such as those in the Library and other public areas.

Faculty-Staff Xerox BW defaults to greyscale (black and white) printing.
Faculty-Staff Xerox Color defaults to color printing.

Note: Color printing is only available on color printers. Not all Xerox machines offer color printing.

Students

The PC Prints printer is available for students to print to any of the "student" printers on campus.
