Teams for Faculty
- Teams is an optional tool that can be used to augment your instruction.
- School Data Sync (SDS) will automatically create Microsoft Class Teams with official course rosters. Rosters will update daily as students add and drop courses.
- Courses created in Canvas will also be created in Teams with the same name.
- You must “Activate” the Team for student use, much like you must “publish” a Canvas course site.
- To add Teams to Canvas you must go to Settings > Navigation > and Enable the Microsoft Teams Tool. Make sure to select Save at the bottom.
- You can post a link to your Team in Canvas (use the ellipsis to the right of the Team name to get link).
