ON-CAMPUS STUDENT HOUSING ONLY:
McVINNEY STUDENTS: Air conditioners (both window units and portable units) are not allowed in McVinney Hall. The electrical system in McVinney cannot accommodate air conditioners. If you are assigned to McVinney, please contact the Office of Residence Life to request a re-assignment.
Please DO NOT create a work order until the window A/C unit is in your room in plain sight AND you have been approved by the Coordinator of Non-Academic Accommodations.
To request a window A/C unit installation, click "Request Service" and select either: 1st Time Window A/C Unit Approved – or – Previously Approved Window A/C Unit. First time approvals must attach their approval notice to their work order or the work order will be "Declined."
If the window A/C is not found in plain sight in the room when the Physical Plant goes to make the installation, the work order will be "Declined" and the student will need to create a new work order once the unit is in the room.
